Two types of armrests: adjustables 2DOF and adjustables 4DOF.
Synchronised seat/back mechanism with 1º/2,3º ratio and multi-position locking and tension adjustment according to the user's body weight (from 45 to 120Kg). Safe return of backrest.

XANA has been certified according to the standards UNE-EN 1335-1, -2, -3 and UNE-EN ISO 9241-5:1988. It fulfills the specifications described in the UE Directive 90/270/CEE.
S.A.L. version
This version includes the System for Accompanying the Lumbar support (S.A.L.).
This technological innovation prevents the known as "shirt-pull efect" through holding the contact between the user's back and the chair's backrest.
The backrest is height adjustable in six positions directly through an up-down mechanism without the need to use levers or buttons.
Mesh backrest version
This backrest is provided with a controlled elasticity that allows the lateral torsion of the backrest in certain positions due to the design of the backrest stem.
Its shape permits an erect and well-balanced position in your backbone. Additionally the chair provides height adjustable lumbar support to the liking of the user.
The backrest design, with elastic mesh, offers the best dynamic adaptation to the different kind of users, allows a correct support and provides more transpirability.

The backrest, being an injected polyurethane foam over a steel stair rod frame, offers a full comfort sensation and allows upholster with different type of fabrics to adapt to every kind of needs and spaces.

Fully upholstered backrest version
In this version the backrest is served with three-dimensional mesh which allows the best dynamic adaptation to the different kind of users, offering a full support for the lumbar and dorsal areas in all occasions.
This type of cover, without foam between the net and the backrest support allows air to pass freely providing elasticity and transpirability but including the System for Accompanying the Lumbar support (S.A.L.) contribution.
S.A.L. 3D mesh version
Xana-ESD has been designed and developed to fulfill the requirements set by the standard EN 61340 5-1. By adapting its design and adding some special components specifically selected we have obtained a chair suited to workplaces that are sensitive to electrostatic discharges but without compromising this model's renowned ergonomic performance.
E.S.D. version
XANA's dimensions and ergonomics has been tested by the "Instituto Biomecánico de Valencia (IBV)" being assessed as "VERY COMFORTABLE".
This model permits the lateral torsion of the backrest, thus offering a greater mobility to the sitting posture.
This version can include headrest that is not only adjustable in height but also in depth, thanks to its excentric design.
