The backrest is wrapped in elastic mesh offering comfort and transpirability. In addition it includes seat depth adjustable and height adjustable lumbar support in standard.
Two types of headrest available. One height adjustable specially conceived for office working and other fixed headrest intended for executives.
Synchronised mechanism with side-operated tension adjustment, 11 locking positions, ample tilt of back (26º) and virtual turn axe in the knees provides a superlative comfort.
Armrests adjustable in 4DOF available: height, width, depth and angle.
It has been developed according to the standards UNE-EN 1335-1, -2, -3 and UNE-EN ISO 9241-5:1988. It fulfills the specifications described in the EU 90/270/CEE.
Mesh version
This version includes a steel frame of backrest coated in epoxy with elastic mesh with two layers that provides comfort and transpirability.
Thanks to the elastic mesh of the backrest and to the large number of adjustment possibilities, ERGOTANGO fits ideally to individual body shapes.
Upholstered version (Ergotango +)
This version includes polyurethane foam injected over a metalic frame to hold the elasticity of the backrest and allowing the upholstery in multiple fabric and colours.
Three different sides of backrest available and two different types of seat to set up the Ergotango plus and the Ergotango plus executive.

This version includes seat and backrest fabric highly conductive that, together with some several specific components, enables the dissipation of the static charges to ground.

ESD version
The ERGOTANGO's synchronised mechanism is one of the most technologically advanced and allow to hold a correct position independently of the angle between the seat and the backrest.
ERGOTANGO has been tested by the "Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia (IBV)" assessing it as very comfortable. The report highlights that the user gets an instant comfort feeling that remains constant over time.
ERGOTANGO includes a seat with special design that provides a uniform pressure distribution. In the test the highest pressure was also half of the accepted (0,211 atm) and the average pressure was also 7 times lower (0,057 atm).
